I just bought a exo terra dual outlet timer and can't figure it out?

It is a 24 hr analog timer, usually these timers have little pins to set the times but this one diesnt have them, it says to turn to time and push the segments in, what are the segments? Please help!

I honestly don't know, I've never used that one. I answered just to tell you, with anything like that, you are better of going to home depot, lowes, ace hardware, etc... You'll get a better quality, more functional, and cheaper product of you do just a little research first. A simple analog timer from home depot will last longer, do a better job, and save you money, you just need to make sure that you get one that is rated for the wattage you are going to plug into it. Or, for a little more there, you could get a digital timer, and it still might be less than than analog exo terra. I'd see if you can take that thing back and get a refund.

Not trying to add to your stress, just wanting to pass on some helpful info.
